Hello, my name is Sherry, and I am a sports & portrait photographer based on Long Island, NY. I began my photography journey alongside my husband ,who runs a menswear fashion page called @suitup.sulit. From then, I have done prenuptial, maternity, birthday portraits. However, in the summer of 2024, I found my passion and calling: sports.

I attended the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup at the UBS Arena between the NY Liberty & Minnesota Lynx. I observed something very interesting that night. The WNBA raises awareness of women’s sports, but that night I counted only one woman on the media team taking photos/videos on the floor. We need more women in sports photography as well.

Of course, the stories we hear during the Olympics & Paralympics are captivating and are made for history books. The 2024 Paris Olympics & Paralympics had some of the most amazing stories of athletes I’ve ever heard. Especially for women. World records & Olympics records broken across various sports. Countries winning their first medals. Athletes from al backgrounds playing the sport they love. Sweat, tears, poise, cries, anger, relief, pride, disappointment, shock.
